Materials Used to Make Check Valves:

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
PVC is corrosion resistant and flexible. The smooth surface of PVC allows the check valve parts to move easily.

Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC)
CPVC has the same qualities as PVC but is able to endure high temperature applications.

Bronze
Bronze can be used for low and medium pressure applications, be cast in complex configurations, and is corrosion resistant.

Brass
Brass has the same abilities as bronze as well as the same machinability and is less expensive than bronze.

Cast Iron
Cast iron check valves are used for hot and cold water, HVAC, steam, gas, and utility services due to its excellent corrosion resistance.

Ductile Iron
Ductile iron has more than 3% carbon so it can be bent and shaped easily. It is stronger than cast iron and is easier to form into check valves.

Iron

Q: How to guarantee your quality? When we install, if there is some quality problems, how to solve it?

A: We have QC department, quality inspector will check every step when processing and make reports to clients for checking. If any quality problems, we will check and reply you within 24 hours to solve it. Please contact us for any quality problems.

Q: What's the temperature and pressure for valves?

A: For metal seat, temperature range from -196ºC to 425ºC. For soft seat ball valve, temperature range from -29ºC to 200ºC. Pressure range from PN6 to PN420(150LB~2500LB).

Q: What's the medium for your valves?

A: Mostly are used in water, gas and oil. When inquiry, it is better to offer your medium, we could suggest materials and valves type for clients.

Q: Can ball valves regulate medium?

A: No, ball valves only can not use for regulating, it is a kind of isolating valve.

Q: What are the quarter turn valves?

A: Ball valve, Butterfly Valve, and Plug valve are rotary motion control valves. They just need a quarter turn to come into action.

Q: What's the direction of valves?

A: Ball Valve and gate valve are bi-directional valves, globe valve, check valve and y strainer have arrow on valve body to indicate direction.
