Diaphragm Movement: The pump consists of two flexible diaphragms, typically made of elastomers or thermoplastics, with a chamber in between
Air Supply: Compressed air or another suitable gas is used to control the movement of the diaphragms. When air is supplied to one diaphragm, it flexes outward, creating a vacuum in the chamber.
Suction Phase: As one diaphragm moves outward, it creates a low-pressure area in the chamber. This causes the fluid (liquid or gas) to be drawn into the chamber through an inlet valve. The diaphragm's flexibility allows it to handle various types of fluids, including abrasive or viscous substances.
Discharge Phase: Once the chamber is filled with the fluid, the air supply is directed to the other diaphragm, causing it to flex outward while the first diaphragm returns to its original position.
